About Jack

Jack the dog has evolved into a great dog. As mentioned before he is sometimes a mammas boy but he really likes doing dog things as well. Chasing balls, pull toys, and barking at nothing are some of his favorite pastimes as well as snuggling when tired. But the true test happened the other day when I was walking him around the block. One of our neighbors had their dog out and about. A little bigger and older dog who decided to bark and growl and give our little pup the business. But surprising to me, Jack bowed up and pulled hard at his leash, letting out a series of barks and growls aimed at the other dog letting him know that Jack was a force to be reckoned with in this here neighborhood!

Heres Jack

We got a puppy! This is Jack. He is a Shih Szu/Poople mix and is a great dog.
I say that because he is a dog not just a cutesy cuddley thing, but that too!
I was a little worried at first because he seemed to have some standoffish tendencies but after a shaving and bath he developed into, get this , a dog! Yes he will probably be a mommas boy but I will teach him some guy things along the way!

A New Direction

As all of you many readers know and there are thousands of you, this blog has had many different directions but never one true course. Don't expect that to change. But I did want all of you my many readers to know what I have been up to lately. Look at the picture and remember, "If it looks likes a duck, walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it must be a duck." And I love being a duck!!!!!!

Political Correctness

The Time is Near

If you are an avid reader of this blog you know that about 14 months ago I asked my sweetie to marry me. She said yes which didn't surprise me because, ah duh, I am such a hunk!!!!! The past year and a half has passed more rapidly than I could have imagined and the day fast approaches that we are to wed. One day away to be exact. Rehersal dinner was tonight and the wedding is Saturday. If you want more on the events check out Southernsinfulbliss.com. Its my sweeties blog. The image I posted give a clue to a little secret that we will revel at the reception. Can't wait for the day. Love ya sweetie.

The Man-Child Cake

Here is a picture of the boys cake for his 12th birthday. Its a guitar!!!! The boy really likes the guitar and his favorite guitarist of all time is Angus Young(ACDC). Constructed of cake frosting hershey bars and tic tics, it is truely awesome! We will be taking it to Wings with us tonight so I am sure we will get many looks.
Special thanks to LucyJades's Bakery and Cafe in Sommerville Al. for doing the cake. They did a great job. I also here that they did the Grooms cake as well. Can't wait to eat, uh I mean see that one too.
